Cyndi Lauper stars as a performing mermaid in a Miami nightclub who ends up on the wrong end of a murder. On the run carrying a locket that people seem to be getting killed for, she runs into an ex-golfer and a wisecracking kid who might just be able to bail her out of this wacky nightmare.

A whole year went by before musician Juliane Hansen was able to put her running shoes back on — a year after her partner, Johann König, took his own life. Although her friend Rieke offers all the support she can, Juliane feels lonely and listless. Now, running and panting, she begins to confront her thoughts, which constantly revolve around Johann, and to allow new vitality to enter her life.

As it’s very early days on this project, little is known about it, though it’s described as following a running prodigy on the hunt for greatness who uses his gifts to outrun his past and forge his future.
